10 NFL sleepers who could make a surprise Super Bowl run

Atlanta Falcons

Sitting at 3-9 last season, the Atlanta Falcons were out of the playoff hunt realistically, and it appeared that they would be letting go of head coach Dan Quinn. However, management gave Quinn a vote of confidence, and the team finished the year strong, winning four straight to inch their record to 7-9.

In 2020, the Falcons not only have most of their stars back, including Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, and Matt Ryan on offense, but they added some weapons as well. Todd Gurley will be the team’s feature back, and the hope is that his knee can hold up, as he was once considered the best back in football.

On defense, Atlanta revamped the look, getting rid of Vic Beasley Jr. and replacing him with Gurley’s teammate in Los Angeles, Dante Fowler Jr.

In the 2020 NFL Draft, the used their top two picks on the defense as well, adding cornerback A.J. Terrell and defensive tackle Marlon Davidson. Ryan is still one of the better quarterbacks in the league, and after their strong finish in 2019, nobody should be looking past Atlanta.
