Baltimore Ravens

Matt Skura – Despite plenty of experience for Duke in his college career (50 games), Matt Skura was overlooked in the 2016 NFL Draft and the versatile lineman fell into the lap of the Ravens (who, unsurprisingly, did their homework here). Since that time, Skura has climbed the depth chart to provide a season’s worth of starts at right guard before taking over the center role in 2018-19. A knee injury prematurely ended his season, but Skura was aiming for a nice payday and reports say he’s right on time for a return in ’20. Not bad for a UDFA

Buffalo Bills

Mario Addison – Only two NFL players have had 9 sacks or more in each of the last four seasons: Chandler Jones (see above) and Mario Addison. Yes, Mario Addison. This might be an odd choice since Addison just joined the Bills, but the lack of attention on the longtime Carolina Panther is maddening given his consistent production as a pass rusher for the last half decade.

Carolina Panthers

Tre Boston – The Panthers are reloading with Matt Rhule at the helm, which means most of the roster is unproven, but one underrated standout is undoubtedly safety Tre Boston. Somehow each offseason features a litany of NFL analysts wondering why Boston is available and/or forced to sign yet another one-year deal on the cheap despite consistent production. Fortunately the Panthers offered up a three-year deal this season, giving Boston some well-earned security.
