Dallas Cowboys

Xavier Woods – In 2017, the Dallas Cowboys took a flyer on a sixth round safety who was a three-time All-Conference USA performer at Louisiana Tech. It didn’t take long for Xavier Woods to earn playing time, and he became a four-game starter during that rookie season. Since then, he’s served as the team’s starting free safety in a high pressure division, giving the team not only talent but some financial flexibility.

Denver Broncos

Jurrell Casey – How the Denver Broncos were able to secure a force along the defensive interior like Jurrell Casey for a seventh round choice, but that automatically put him on our most underrated list. While five straight Pro Bowls seem to state otherwise, the fact that a player like Casey could feel “discarded like trash” is ridiculous. A motivated Casey will be dangerous along Denver’s front line.

Detroit Lions

Kenny Golladay – Fantasy football players will know all about Kenny Golladay, but casual football fans likely don’t realize just how valuable the wide receiver is to the Detroit Lions. All he did in 2019 was lead the league in touchdowns and put up his second straight 1,000 yard season. A former third round pick from Northern Illinois, he’s an unlikely star at the position but he deserves much greater recognition.
