24. Miami Dolphins

Although Brian Flores’ team won five of its final nine games this past season, the Dolphins did allow an NFL-high 494 points. The club came away with only 16 takeaways and were at the bottom of the league with 23 sacks. The additions include linebackers Kyle Van Noy and Elandon Roberts and highly-regarded cornerback Byron Jones.

23. Detroit Lions

Matt Patricia earned his bones in New England as the Patriots’ defensive coordinator. And after a promising start in 2018, the Lions struggled mightily on this side of the ball this past season. The club dealt three-time Pro Bowl cornerback Darius Slay to the Eagles. Enter versatile linebacker Jamie Collins and rookie cornerback Jeff Okudah.

22. Cleveland Browns

Myles Garrett has emerged has emerged into one of the top pass rushers in the league. New defensive coordinator Joe Woods comes with a solid reputation, especially when it comes to the secondary. Keep an eye on former Raiders’ first-round safety Karl Joseph, who could flourish in a new setting, and second-year pro Greedy Williams.
