2. Jacksonville Jaguars
Leonard Fournette might have topped 1,000 yards for the second time in three years, but the Jaguars committed to a full-on rebuild, might jettison him anyway, as the lack of consistency from game-to-game has many questioning what his ceiling really is.
Chris Thompson and 2019 fifth-rounder Ryquell Armstead have proven themselves to be serviceable NFL running backs, but those doubting their every-down ability are justified in their concerns.
Mostert could provide them with either a secondary running back that splits carries with Fournette or a new starter that helps the Jaguars finally decide to trade Fournette away. His numbers might not be as good given how he would be going to a worse organization, coaching staff, and offensive line, but Jacksonville might pay him. The Jags may also promise him every-down work if they can get a trade done within the next few weeks.
