48. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Tom Brady. player. QB. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 2

The idea of a 42-year-old quarterback leading the NFL in passing might sound outlandish to some. Those people should bet against the brilliance of Brady at their own risk.

The perfectionist will arrive in Tampa Bay with massive expectations. Buccaneers are desperate to see the future Hall of Fame signal-caller lead their moribund franchise to the Super Bowl. Brady has a chance to do just that in Bruce Arians’ offense.

Arians might be the most aggressive offensive play-caller in football. He’s going to push the ball down the field early and often with Brady at the helm of his passing attack. The presence of stars like Chris Godwin and Mike Evans on the outside gives Brady the best receiving talent he’s ever had the opportunity to work with.

Throw in the addition of Rob Gronkowski at tight end and it’s easy to see why Brady can throw for a ton of yards. The key for the Buccaneers will be to keep their veteran quarterback healthy. If Tampa Bay blocks for Brady he’s going to put up silly numbers. That might not be enough to bring a Lombardi Trophy to the Buccaneers, but it’s going to be an exciting season nonetheless.
