Adrian Amos is clearly not lacking a competitive edge heading into the 2020 season.

If there was ever any doubts about Green Bay Packers safety Adrian Amos’, he put it to bed on Tuesday. The safety took to Twitter to tell the world just how much when people tell him “it’s just a game”.

Amos followed up with some clarification for his younger fans, telling them not to throw a fit whenever they lose, but to always play with a competitive attitude. Amos shows his competitive edge every week on the field, delivering monster hits and always giving opposing receivers something to think about when they comes across the field.

Amos has had to fight for everything in the NFL and his success is something to behold. After getting selected in the fifth round in 2015, he earned the starting strong safety position in his rookie year for the Bears, which is quite rare for a fifth rounder. Since then, Amos has only missed four games in four seasons.

Adrian Amos had a solid debut season for the Green Bay Packers.

Amos signed for the Packers last offseason after four seasons with the Bears. Overall, he was solid for the Packers in 2019. He ended up second on the team in tackles last season with 84, with only Blake Martinez in front of him. He also finished with a PFF grade of 76.5.

The Packers have an extremely young and promising secondary who will look to take a big step in 2020. They will look to add another level of competitiveness next season. Amos will clearly do his part to make the group as tough as possible next season.

With Jaire Alexander, Kevin King, Josh Jackson and Darnell Savage all gaining a a year of experience, the group will have higher expectations in 2020.
