4. Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons

Admittedly, Ryan had a down year in 2019. Still, he threw for over 4,400 yards and 26 touchdowns. In the meantime, the Falcons saw a potential NFC title contender crumble around itself due to an injury-plagued roster, finishing a disappointing 7-9.

But 2020 should be a bounce back year for a team that is still only a few years removed from a Super Bowl.

For starters, the team adds a legitimate running back in Todd Gurley, replacing the veteran Devonta Freeman. The team lost games last season with injuries to receivers Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley, who missed six starts. Finally, a porous offensive line allowed Ryan to be sacked 48 times.

All should be improved in 2020, and allow Ryan to return to the top ranks of NFC quarterbacks.
