9. Bryce Huff, Edge, New York Jets

When the 2020 NFL Draft ended, Bryce Huff, a defensive end from the University of Memphis, ended up going undrafted after seven rounds — and likely found himself in a much better place in the process. The New York Jets fought off competition to sign him as a free agent by offering him $90K in bonus money, the most money given by the team to any prospect.

Huff joins the Jets as one of the most dependable pass rushers in this year’s draft classes, a player whose non-stop effort and durability should fare well at the pro level. Huff had 18 sacks in his three seasons as a starter with another 39.5 tackles for loss and 4 forced fumbles to go with it, showing just how much of a force he can be in opposing backfields.

While he has plenty of questions to answer (issues of competition, length, and moves are on the list), Huff has the requisite traits (motor, burst) to push for some real reps as a situational pass rusher for the Jets.
