Dusty Baker thinks the Dodgers are being too mean to the Astros.

The Houston Astros manager, Dusty Baker, made one of the stupidest, most obvious comments about the rivalry with the Los Angeles Dodgers and we really can’t even resist roasting him for it.

The Dodgers lost to the Astros in the World Series in 2017, coincidentally the same season the team was found to be cheating (among others) and for some reason, Baker is shocked that the team might actually be a little bit angry about that.

“Most of the tension didn’t come from our side…most of the tension was coming from their side,” Baker said (h/t Daniel Gotera).

The Dodgers are mad because the Astros cheated

The Astros were finally proven to have been cheating by stealing signs through 2017, 2018 and 2019 seasons but they weren’t stripped of their World Series win, despite the call from pretty much everyone to do so.

The Dodgers, who took the Astros deep into Game 7, could have been the 2017 champions had the game been played fairly and have every right to be a little testy at the team (as do many other teams who could have done better).

The teams will come head-to-head for the first time since the cheating scandal was revealed when the Dodgers face the Astros in Houston, TX on Tuesday night.
