It’s important to keep in mind that the 32 players selected are not potential Pro Football Hall of Famers if they retired at the moment. Especially in the case of some performers who are barely scratched the surface when it comes to their talents and career. Of course, there are also veterans on this list that may want to make some early reservations for a trip to Canton, Ohio. And there is a sprinkling of some additional names as some teams have more than one potential future Hall of Fame inductee.

There’s no talk of omissions and the dreaded “snub” word here. And who knows when some of these stars will decide to walk away from the game?

Arizona Cardinals: WR Larry Fitzgerald

Only Hall of Famer Jerry Rice has more career receptions than Larry Fitzgerald. And the 16-year veteran has shown few signs of slowing down, leading the club with 75 receptions. He’ll now play opposite DeAndre Hopkins, acquired from the Texans (via Jared Dubin of CBS Sports). Fitzgerald has first-ballot Hall of Famer written all over him.

Atlanta Falcons: WR Julio Jones

You can take your pick when it comes to wide receiver Julio Jones and quarterback Matt Ryan in terms of Hall of Fame worthy. The edge here goes to the latter, who is often in the discussion as the best player at his position in the league. He has been named to a team-record seven Pro Bowls via 797 catches, 12,125 yards and 57 scores.

Baltimore Ravens: DL Calais Campbell

He was just acquired by the Ravens this offseason via trade with the Jaguars. But classy defensive lineman Calais Campbell has been one of the NFL’s steadiest defenders throughout his career and had three Pro Bowl years in Jacksonville. The five-time Pro Bowler has amassed 88 sacks and returned three fumbles for touchdowns.

Buffalo Bills: CB Tre’Davious White

It’s only been three seasons, but Buffalo Bills’ cornerback Tre’Davious White these days seems to be in a two-way discussion these days for the best cornerback in the league along with fellow AFC East member Stephon Gilmore of the Patriots. There’s 12 regular-season interceptions in 47 contests and White earned All-Pro honors in 2019.
