Three players from the NFC West are primed to make their first Pro Bowl.

Few topics in the NFL create as much debate as Pro Bowl voting.

While the league’s annual All-Star game is a meaningless exercise absent of players from the two teams competing in the Super Bowl and one that scores of the league’s best withdraw from to protect against injury, the recognition of being selected is still important.

Being snubbed after a strong season still irritates players regardless of the merits of the game itself, while being selected for the first time is indicative of a player enjoying a rise to the ranks of the league’s elite.

The game may be a very different experience in 2021, as it is still unclear whether usual festivities and skills challenges around the event will be able to go ahead or if the public health situation will have improved enough for there to be fans in the stands in Las Vegas.

Irrespective of the circumstances in which it is played, Pro Bowl selection will still be an honor for those players receiving such an accolade for the first time in their careers.
