FanDuel is providing a large number of contests for the final round of the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational. Let’s take a look at the final round of this event from a fantasy golf perspective!

Before I discuss my FanDuel player selections I want to clearly emphasize that this article is focused on the final round contest. The FanDuel final round contest is vastly different with regard to scoring than the traditional contest offered by FanDuel which encompasses an entire golf tournament.

If you have any questions regarding the final round contest I strongly recommend that you check out the FanDuel website for more details.

Here are my player selections for the final round of the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational.

Justin Thomas $11,700

The 27 year old American has eight top ten finishes this season, including a win at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in January. Thomas is currently ranked third in strokes gained approach (.983), first in strokes gained tee to green (1.786), and tenth in final round scoring average (68.50) on the PGA Tour.

Brooks Koepka $10,700

The 2019 PGA Champion shot a final round 65 at the RBC Heritage in June on his way to a seventh place finish. As of this writing (Friday evening), after two rounds of play at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, Koepka is tied for third with a score of seven under par.

Daniel Berger $10,500

The American has eight top 23 finishes this season, including a win at the Charles Schwab Challenge in June. Berger is ranked seventh in final round scoring average (68.20) on the PGA Tour.

Chez Reavie $8,200

Reavie has six top 26 finishes on the PGA Tour this season, including a tenth place finish at the Genesis Invitational in June. Through two rounds of tournament play at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude  Invitational, Reavie is tied for third place with a cumulative two round score of seven under par.

Additionally, in relation to the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational field, upon completion of two rounds, Reavie ranks sixth in strokes gained off the tee, fourth in strokes gained approach, and first in strokes gained tee to green.

Brendon Todd $8,100

He has four top 11 finishes on the PGA Tour this season, including a win at the Bermuda Championship in November. Todd is currently ranked third in driving accuracy (72.67%) and 23rd in par four birdie or better percentage (20.17%) on the PGA Tour.

Jason Kokrak $7,200

The 35 year old American fired a third round 66 at the WGC-HSBC Champions in November en route to an eventual eighth place result. More recently, Kokrak finished third at the Charles Schwab Challenge in June.

Through two rounds of play at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational Kokrak is tied for 15th with a cumulative two round score of three under par. In my opinion, Kokrak presents outstanding fantasy golf value at a FanDuel price of only $7,200.
