2. LSU Tigers

The LSU Tigers have done a great job with a strong color scheme, and the defending national champions have arguably the best helmets on this list. The tiger on each side of the helmet gives LSU some major points, but this was already one of the best looks in the SEC.

Purple, yellow and white look great together, and the Tigers do not go over the top. The striping is perfect on the helmet, jersey and pants, and each color is used in a good proportion compared to the others.

In most other conferences, the Tigers would have the best uniforms, and they certainly have a case for the best look on this list. However, there is one other team that edges them out on this list, and a strong alternate jersey is a huge reason why.

1. Florida Gators

While the Florida Gators have not won the SEC since the Tim Tebow days, they still sport the best uniforms in the conference. Now partnered with the Jordan brand, per SB Nation, Florida’s jerseys have only gotten better.

The traditional home and away jerseys are strong, with a white, blue and orange color scheme working to perfection. However, it’s the orange alternates that really set the Gators apart. Matching well with the orange helmets, the orange look is not only original, but Florida pulls it off as well.

The SEC may be the strongest conference in the league in terms of both uniforms and on-field play, and although the Gators may not be the conference’s best team, they certainly boast the best uniforms.
