Indians pitcher Mike Clevinger in quarantine after going out with Zach Plesac.

It looks like the hits keep coming for the Cleveland Indians … but not on the field.

According to reports, Mike Clevinger is now in quarantine after it was revealed he went out with Zach Plesac in Chicago over the weekend. This was a violation of the team’s safety policy and could potentially put the entire team at risk.

Clevinger reportedly shared a plane back to Cleveland with the team following his night on the town. He has been removed from his upcoming start.

Zach Plesac is also in quarantine

This news comes after news that Pelsac was also quarantined for leaving without notifying the team. The pitcher was reportedly out with friends in Chicago on Saturday night and the team responded to those actions promptly and responsibly. The team, trying to prevent an outbreak that recently rolled through the Florida Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals, immediately isolated Plesac from the team. He’ll be quarantined for 72 hours and tested several times before the team will determine when he can return to play.
