The Kansas City Chiefs continued their incredible offseason by agreeing to a monster extension with superstar tight end Travis Kelce.

Has any team ever had a bigger or better offseason in all of professional sports than the Kansas City Chiefs? After winning the Super Bowl in February, the organization has only made even more headlines with some incredible news.

Fans were delighted when Patrick Mahomes signed his record-breaking $502 million deal, and were also fired up when Chris Jones inked his contract. How in the world could general manager Brett Veach make things any better?

On Thursday, the Chiefs reportedly agreed to a four-year extension with Pro Bowl tight end Travis Kelce, keeping him with the team for the next six seasons. What a power move.

The San Francisco 49ers gave George Kittle a five-year extension on Thursday morning worth $75 million. The Chiefs wasted absolutely no time in making their own star tight end happy with an improved contract.

And for the Chiefs, it’s really setting them up for long-term success. Kelce, Mahomes and Jones are all locked in for the long haul, with the team already considered the favorites to win the Super Bowl once again next winter.

Forget just this upcoming season, though. Can we see the Chiefs becoming a dynasty in the coming years with several Vince Lombardi Trophies? This team is young across the board and its core of stars have all been given big-money deals this offseason.

Remember, the offense somehow got even more explosive this spring when the team used its first-round pick on LSU running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire. With Damien Williams opting out this season, the rookie will be thrown into the spotlight early. The expectation is he’ll be a playmaker from the start in Week 1.

Kansas City’s Super Bowl parade in February was one to remember. Something tells us the city better get ready for many more in the coming years.
