Denver Broncos rookie wideout Jerry Jeudy made an impressive touchdown catch in practice on Tuesday, barely getting his feet in bounds along the sideline.

Broncos rookie wideout Jerry Jeudy had fans hyped after Tuesday’s practice, with the team Twitter account sharing video of an impressive sideline touchdown catch on an accurate throw from second-year quarterback Drew Lock.

Jeudy showed impressive body control on his catch, displaying the skills that made many analysts name him the draft’s top wideout. With the Alabama product not even expected to fall to Denver in the first place, Broncos fans have to be anxious to see him get some in-game action.

In his final year with the Crimson Tide, Jeudy tallied an impressive 1,163 yards and 10 touchdown catches. With Courtland Sutton and fellow rookie KJ Hamler in the fold, Jeudy figures to be a vital member of a stacked receiving corps.

If Jeudy can continue to display the same kind of talent and finesse when the regular season starts, Denver could quickly make a return to the playoffs for the first time since the Peyton Manning days.

Quarterback Drew Lock showed flashes of brilliance as a rookie, going 4-1 as a starter and putting up solid numbers. With Jeudy now present as a reliable, technically-sound receiver, Lock may have found his go-to guy, with the 21-year-old perhaps the most pro-ready receiver from a historically deep class.

With just under three weeks before the start of the regular season, Jeudy will have a chance to showcase his skills on the big stage very soon. The Broncos kick off their season on Monday Night Football against the Tennessee Titans, and a victory could set the tone for a resurgent season.

Jeudy figures to be heavily featured, and could very well become Lock’s favorite target in short order.
