1. The Buccaneers now have Tom Brady under center

This is obvious, but the biggest reason that the Buccaneers will win the Super Bowl this season is that they added Brady. One of the NFL’s best quarterbacks of all time, Brady has six Super Bowl championships to his name and has gone to the playoffs a whopping 17 times.

The last time a healthy Brady missed the postseason was 2002 and he will be able to pass along plenty of wisdom about tough January football to the Buccaneers’ young roster. Brady will win the experience battle against pretty much every quarterback he faces, which is a huge mental edge in the playoffs.

There was a bit of slippage in Brady’s game at the end of last season but part of the blame can go to a very diminished supporting cast in New England. Brady, who has done an excellent job staying in great shape as he enters his 40s, will now get a major talent upgrade in Tampa Bay.

The NFL is still a quarterback league and the Buccaneers now have the sport’s most successful postseason quarterback on their roster. Brady’s presence in Tampa Bay is by far the best reason that the Buccaneers will take home their second Lombardi Trophy in franchise history.
