The Minnesota Twins are the latest team to show interest in trading for Los Angeles Angels starter Dylan Bundy ahead of the deadline.

We’ve only got a few days until the Major League Baseball trade deadline arrives, which means several teams out there are hoping to put the finishing touches on some deals that will help them go on a serious postseason run.

That includes the Minnesota Twins, who are in the middle of a three-team race for the AL Central title with the Cleveland Indians and Chicago White Sox. As of this writing, all three teams are within 0.5 games of one another.

Knowing how things are, Minnesota is hoping to improve its rotation before Aug. 31 comes and goes. Because of that, the team is reportedly in on the race to try and acquire Dylan Bundy from the Angels.

Several teams are in on Dylan Bundy, including the Twins, White Sox and Braves

Minnesota of course isn’t the only team with interest in making a move for Bundy, as the Braves, White Sox and other clubs want to get him out of LA and into their clubhouse. For the Angels, it’s been a 2020 to forget, as they’re 11-22 on the year and won’t be making a trip to the postseason.

Because of this, they could look to ‘sell’ on Bundy, but will want some great players/prospects in return. Bundy has impressed this year, posting a 3-2 record and a 2.58 ERA in six starts.

Bundy has really turned heads this year despite the Angels struggling. Should he make his way to a new club, he could find himself on a big-time contender with the chance for meaningful innings around the corner. Stay tuned to see where Bundy heads next, as he’s definitely on ‘hug watch.’

Next. Dylan Bundy has been unlocked by a change of scenery. dark
