The top 30 NFL games of the 2020 season

13. Week 8 – San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks
No matter one’s fandom, the time slot, or location — this contest has been a joyous one to watch as of late. The 49ers endured a multi-year stretch of lackluster play, yet even then, they played Seattle with vigor.
On the whole, Seattle dominates the historical matchup. The teams have danced 42 times, and the Seahawks have won 26 times to the 49ers 17 victories.
As for Russell Wilson, he’s had little trouble solving the 49ers. Seattle, with Wilson in charge, is 12-4 against San Francisco. But two of those Seattle losses have occurred in the last two years. It can be coined The Kyle Shanahan Effect.
14. Week 9 – Pittsburgh Steelers at Dallas Cowboys
Off the top of your head, did you know the Steelers and Cowboys have gone to war in three Super Bowls? Indeed, 5.5 percent of all Super Bowls ever played have been that of a Pittsburgh Steelers versus Dallas Cowboys format. The Steelers were triumphant in Super Bowl X and Super Bowl XII. The Cowboys returned the favor about two decades later in Super Bowl XXX.
Most of the participants from those games are grandpas now. So, in Week 9, a face-off of Dak Prescott and Ben Roethlisberger will transpire deep in the heart of Texas.
