Mitchell Trubisky proved the doubters wrong for one week

While pundits and Bears fans alike were dancing on his grave, calling for Nick Foles to be inserted into the game when Chicago faced a 20-point deficit, Mitchell Trubisky led the most memorable comeback of his NFL career when he needed it most. Trubisky and the Bears scored 21 points straight, capped by this perfect throw to Anthony Miller to give Chicago the lead.

Miller had very little separation, but Trubisky dropped said throw into the bread basket over the Lions defender.

With the lead in hand, the Bears held on by the skin of their teeth

Miller gave the Bears the lead, but Matthew Stafford and the Lions still had one chance to avoid disaster. After driving Detroit down the field, Stafford found D’Andre Swift in the end zone, but the pass was dropped.

Thankfully for Bears fans, Trubisky’s comeback not only led to newfound confidence in their QB, but a win as well.
