Alabama shares highlights from latest team scrimmage (Video)
Alabama football is ready to go in 2020 and they did their part in pumping up the fan base by tweeting out a team scrimmage.
No one makes a team scrimmage look nearly as exciting as Alabama football, who posted a hype video on Twitter on Tuesday to get all of Tuscaloosa fired up for the 2020 season.
It was a short video, clocking in at just 50 seconds, but the point was crystal clear and it’s that the Crimson Tide are going to remain the powerhouse they’ve been over the past decade under Nick Saban. From the impressive catches from the offense to the hard hits given by the defense, the boys looked ready to go!
Alabama had a very un-Alabama-like season in 2019, failing to reach the College Football Playoff for the first time since the concept originated in the 2014-2015 season. They lost to both LSU and Auburn during the regular season, giving them a two-loss season for the first time since 2014.
The 2020 season will be the return of the Alabama team we’re used to watching.
It was a very competitive season in the SEC with LSU and the resurgence of Joe Burrow, but Burrow is off to the NFL and Alabama is still full of talent primed for big careers in the NFL. They should be back to their usual ways of sweeping the SEC West, making it to the SEC title game, and likely punching their ticket to the College Football Playoff and the National Championship Game as well.
Tua Tagovailoa might not be the quarterback anymore, but the Crimson Tide will still be one of, if not the best team in college football and this hype video is making sure everyone knows they’re planning on returning to form this year after a slip up in 2019.
With all that’s going on in the world right now, having college football back has been wonderful and hopefully the season is able to go on as planned. Alabama is hoping so too so that they can get back on top of the college football world.
