2021 NFL Mock Draft: Bengals add more protection for Joe Burrow
By Brad Weiss
The Tennessee Titans got off to a hot start to the 2020 NFL season, going on the road in primetime and beating a very good Denver Broncos team. The Titans relied heavily on running back Derrick Henry, who had another solid game, and that should be the team’s game plan moving forward.
On defense, the Titans should continue to build up that defensive line, which already has some solid young players in Harold Landry and Jeffrey Simmons. Jaylen Twyman is an incredibly versatile defensive lineman who can play inside or out, giving defensive-minded head coach Mike Vrabel another weapon up front.
The Philadelphia Eagles would like to put Week 1 in the rearview mirror, as they were outplayed on both sides of the ball by the lowly Washington Football Team. There are a ton of question marks heading into Week 2, but luckily for the Birds, the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys also lost, and also looked bad.
Heading into the 2021 NFL Draft, one wideout that is going to be high on everybody’s board is Devonta Smith, another standout wide receiver from Alabama. He would be a perfect fit in Philadelphia as they look to continue to build around franchise quarterback Carson Wentz.
The Arizona Cardinals are one of the more exciting, young teams in football, and they got a whole heck of a lot better with their trade for DeAndre Hopkins. In his first game in Arizona, Hopkins had one of the best games of his career, and is only going to make Kyler Murray better moving forward.
In the 2021 NFL Draft, Arizona had to continue to get better up front along the offensive line, and Wyatt Davis would be an outstanding addition to the interior of their line. Protecting Murray is priority No. 1, and for Arizona, Davis is a guy who could be moved around until he finds his spot.
