4. Adam Thielen is heavily targeted and individually demolishes the Colts

Game: Minnesota Vikings at Indianapolis Colts (Sunday, 9/20, 1:00 pm EST)

First things first: Garnder Minshew III completed 19 of 20 passes against the Colts in Week 1 en route to a galactic 142.3 passer rating. Minshew is turning into a fine young quarterback, but Vikings signal-caller Kirk Cousins is already a proven one. If Minshew can abuse the Colts secondary, so can Cousins.

Insert Adam Thielen. Before and after the Packers began imposing their will on the Vikings last week, Cousins targeted Adam Thielen like he was a fugitive from the law. And, it was a profitable pursuit. Thielen caught six passes for 110 yards and two touchdowns. Minnesota is still adjusting to life without Stefon Diggs and will be doing so for an undetermined period of weeks. In the meantime, Cousins will hook up with his bread-and-butter option, Thielen.

The strong spot of the Colts defense is upfront with DeForest Buckner and Justin Houston and then in the middle with Darius Leonard. The cornerbacks, however, are suspect. Vikings cast-off Xavier Rhodes joined Indianapolis this offseason and did not play well in his first game with a blue horseshoe on his helmet.

Look for Adam Thielen to toy with the Colts corners.
