Week 1 Overreactions

Sammy Watkins is a top 10 WR

Watkins had a bigger week 1 than even Tyreek Hill, but claiming that such success is that sustainable is a stretch.

Robby Anderson is a top 10 WR

Similar to Watkins, it is difficult to imagine that Anderson’s success is sustainable, especially because so much of his success came on one 75-yard reception.

The Washington defense will be the top scoring defense this season

While the Washington defense did tie for the lead in fantasy points this week, and will likely be much improved this season, it is pretty extreme to think they’ll be the best in the league.

Mitch Trubisky will be a top 5 QB

Turbisky was wildly successful in week 1, but I cannot imagine that he will have sustained success like that.

Next. Fantasy football start/sit week 2. dark

Michael Thomas will be outside the top 50 WRs

This one has become more likely as more details of his injury have surfaced, but Thomas’ talent is too great to imagine that he won’t be successful upon his return.
