The Packers might as well print their NFC North banner up

The Green Bay Packers have seemingly already locked up the NFC North after a dominant win over the Detroit Lions.

Go ahead and call the division folks, because no one is going to be able to catch up to Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. Remember when haters were trying to say Rodgers would be distracted after the team selected Jordan Love in the NFL Draft? So much for that.

The Packers have started off a perfect 2-0 on the season, making easy work of the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1 and following that up be absolutely destroying the Detroit Lions in Week 2. You might as well give them the NFC North title already, because this show is all but over.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have been simply unstoppable through the first two games of the season

Green Bay looks like a team that can’t be stopped right now, while the rest of the NFC North is a mess. The Vikings got rocked by the Colts in Week 2, while the Lions couldn’t come up with much of anything against the Packers. How about the Chicago Bears? After beating the Lions last week, Chicago sneaked their way past the struggling New York Giants, who saw Saquon Barkley go down with a knee injury in the middle of the action.

Can anyone catch up to the Packers in the NFC North? Probably not, especially with the way Rodgers is throwing the ball around.

In the 42-21 victory over Detroit in Week 2, Rodgers threw for 240 yards and two touchdowns. In the win, Davante Adams only had three receptions for 36 yards, yet the Packers still won by 21 points? That’s almost unfair.

Green Bay will now get ready for take on the New Orleans Saints in a monster showdown next Sunday night in New Orleans. If Rodgers and Green Bay continue to play at such a high level, we may need to start having some serious Super Bowl talks about them too.
