FanDuel NFL 2020: Best lineup for Week 3

Wide Receiver: DeAndre Hopkins $8,500

Sometimes, it’s worth it to go after the most expensive option. That’s DeAndre Hopkins this week. He’s going for $8,500 on Fanduel this week, $500 more than the next most expensive option Calvin Ridley. Hopkins has been the second-highest scoring receiver despite only having one touchdown.

Hopkins will go up against a Detroit Lions team that is without Justin Coleman and possibly without Desmond Trufant as well. Last week, without those two players, Aaron Jones did mean things to that secondary with Davonte Adams likely hurting. Now, the Lions have to deal with someone playing like the best wide receiver in football.

Hopkins’s immediate connection is almost uncanny. Nobody expected Hopkins to walk into Arizona and dominate from the start. Many thought it would eventually happen, but this was quick. Hopkins has caught more than 88 percent of his targets. Murray knows if he goes to him, it’s more than likely ending up in a catch.

Hopkins will likely get Jeff Okudah, the third-overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft, across from him. Okudah was not good in his first NFL start last week, allowing 121 yards and a touchdown against him. Things will get much, much harder for Okudah. This week, Hopkins is worth the price.
