Middle Tennessee head coach Rick Stockstill can’t figure out how to mask.

Middle Tennessee head coach Rick Stockstill isn’t having a great 2020.

Coming off a losing season in 2019, his team is 0-2 after blowout losses to Army and Troy. And three games into the season, he still can’t figure out how to wear a mask.

Whatever the “right” way is, it’s pretty clearly not the way he chose during Friday Night’s game against UTSA. Cameras were there to capture the look in all its glory.

Rick Stockstill was roasted for wearing his mask across his nose.

As is usually the case when something whacky happens in college football, Twitter was there with the jokes.

Apparently, this isn’t the first time Stockstill has struggled to manage his mask.

During Middle Tennessee’s loss to Army at the start of September, his struggle was very real.

Listen, we’ve all had to adjust to wearing masks in the age of coronavirus. Who among us hasn’t decided the best solution is to bunch the mask across our nose?

No one? Just Rick Stockstill? Oh.

In any case, Stockstill didn’t learn his lesson from Week 1 when it came to wearing a mask. Middle Tennessee and will hope he has picked up some other lessons, like how to manage the clock.

It was looking like another rough night for the Blue Raiders as they fall behind 20-10 to the Roadrunners. However, two unanswered touchdowns for MTSU put them in the lead in the third quarter.

Mask woes be damned, Stockstill may be on his way to his first victory of the year. Surely that’s all the matters to him and his team.
