The Oklahoma Sooners found a way to choke against lowly Kansas State
The Sooners were the Big 12’s best chance at the College Football Playoff in this weird, COVID-19 shortened season. That might’ve gone out the window with an early-season loss to Kansas State on Saturday. OU entered the game as the No. 3 ranked team in the country, and with the Big Ten and Pac-12 entering play in the coming weeks, there’s no telling how far they could fall in the rankings.
Social media realized just that, and after Kansas State erased a 21-point deficit, Twitter got the best of the Sooners, handing them their second defeat on the day.
Twitter hammered the Sooners after they lost to Kansas State
This is the same Kansas State team that lost to Arkansas State last week. Take that in, just for a minute.

Rattler was solid to start the game, but his late interceptions proved vital as Kansas State outscored the Sooners 17-0 in the fourth quarter.
Less than five minutes to go.

Lincoln Riley is now 0-2 all time against Kansas State’s Chris Klieman.

One of these days Oklahoma will be able to hang with a national championship winner. pic.twitter.com/yg6wYebLbB
Kansas State just has Lincoln Riley’s number. Heisman Trophies don’t equal College Football Playoff wins.
Hmm. Kansas State's approach of hiring the coach from the most dominant dynasty in college football history seems to be working out for them

Good for Kansas State, big cats in Oklahoma are having a 2020 moment pic.twitter.com/PtfBY7SLcb

Kansas State was down eight key contributors for this game, per Pete Thamel. And they still beat the No. 3 team in the country.
Well, at least we don't have to wait until Oklahoma loses by 30 in the playoff, to know that Oklahoma has no business being in the playoff this year

Death. Taxes. And Oklahoma losing as 28-point *favorites*.
— Eddie Radosevich (@Eddie_Rado) September 26, 2020
Wow. Kansas State upsets Oklahoma. Does this mean Arkansas State has clinched Big 12 title?

It took just two weeks of Big 12 action to turn college football on its head. If anyone needed further evidence of why a college football season is essential to the American Dream, now you have it.
May I have some more, please?
