The Las Vegas Raiders are in hot water for another COVID-19 violation.

The Las Vegas Raiders might be fined again for more COVID-19-related violations.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, “After a week in which Jon Gruden and the Las Vegas Raiders received heavy fines for violating sideline coronavirus protocols, the team is now under an NFL investigation for another protocol-related violation — allowing unauthorized locker room access, league sources told ESPN.”

“The alleged violation occurred after Monday night’s win over the New Orleans Saints, when an unauthorized team employee entered the Raiders’ locker room without the credentials to do so.”

Head coach Jon Gruden was already fined for not wearing his mask correctly on Monday Night Football in Week 2, and did you see what he tried to do with his mask this week? It’s not great.

Will the NFL lay the smackdown on the Raiders with this latest violation?

Gruden is one of the handful of head coaches who has already had the coronavirus. He said he was “doing [his] best” before getting fined by the league after I’ve had the virus. “I’m doing my best. I’m very sensitive about it. … I’m calling plays. I just want to communicate in these situations, and if I get fined, I’ll have to pay the fine. But I’m very sensitive about that, and I apologize.”

The NFL is taking wearing the face masks very seriously, as well as who is and isn’t allowed in the locker room of their franchises. Schefter reports only 40 team employees are allowed into locker rooms this season. As you would expect, it would be essential employees from coaching staff to training staff to equipment staff to the general manager to one member of the team’s PR staff.

We’re only three weeks into the season and the Raiders are having a hard time following the rules sent out by the league. While they were 2-0 entering play on Sunday afternoon, they got smoked by the New England Patriots on the road in Week 3. If being levied heavy fines for not following COVID-19 protocols doesn’t work, what will? Losing draft picks? Let’s not all that to happen.

The Raiders don’t need to be in the news about the coronavirus heading into yet another week.
