Odell Beckham Jr.’s cryptic tweets confused and concerned Browns fans.

Somewhere in Cleveland, Browns receiver Odell Beckham Jr. appears to have a lot on his mind.

At least, that’s what we have to assume based on a flurry of tweets he dropped on Friday night.

Making sense of those tweets, whether internal musings or signs of unrest, sent some Cleveland Browns fans into freakout mode.

Odell Beckham Jr.’s vague tweets need deciphering

It all started with a particularly worrisome tweet, at least from the perspective of Cleveland fans who need Beckham to be at the top of his game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Other tweets in Beckham’s stream followed.

“There never was a plan B…” came the next cryptic tweet.

“I was destined for more… im not gon stop,” he said next.

Does that mean he does want more football? Subsequent tweets didn’t exactly clarify.

“One day….you gon see it! Ima make sure”

“God kno.. I promise He do”

“Our faith can move mountains…”

“Im on a mission…”

“Seem like nobody wanna run the race witcha, but errbody wanna be at the finish line to hold the trophy”

“Overcame obstacles and they still come…”

Beckham Jr. followed all that up with…a tweet about the NBA Finals?

If you’re confused, you’re not alone.

One fan pondered the tweets in the context of Beckham’s upcoming matchup with the Cowboys secondary.

Another proposed the value of reverse psychology.

Others were certain the tweets didn’t hold a much deeper meaning.

Beckham’s 2020 season hasn’t exactly gone perfectly, so his reflections aren’t a huge surprise in some sense. In three starts so far, he is averaging a career-low 3.7 catches and 51.7 yards per game.
