LSU’s Myles Brennan pulled off an outstanding example of the flea flicker against Vanderbilt.

LSU football isn’t letting last week’s loss to Mississippi State get them down.

The Tigers shook off the upset by playing backyard football against Vanderbilt, jumping out to a sizeable lead then unleashing the most classic of trick plays.

We’re talking about the flea flicker.

LSU brought out the tricks in a romp over Vanderbilt

There are few things sweeter than a successfully executed flea-flicker, in this case from Myles Brennan to Jontre Kirklin. Add in the toe tap in the back of the endzone and you’ve got one tasty highlight.

LSU certainly enjoyed their bounce-back game on the whole. By the midway point of the fourth quarter, the Tigers held a 41-7 lead thanks to four passing touchdowns from Brennan and a rushing touchdown from John Emery.

Next week, they’ll take on Missouri, which should be a comfortable win for the Tigers, before a real test appears in the form of Florida on Oct. 17.
