10 RB sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 4
By Dustin Baker
8. Darrell Henderson (LAR)
Game: New York Giants at Los Angeles Rams (Sunday, 10/4, 4:05 pm EST)
You drafted running back Cam Akers with visions of grandeur, but those visions have been cloudy thus far. Akers is even slated to miss Week 4 due to injury. In the meantime, the Rams have turned to Darrell Henderson to handle the team’s rushing activities. How’s that going? He’s averaging a blistering 5.7 yards per carry.
Start Henderson against the hapless Giants.
9. Devonta Freeman (NYG)
Game: New York Giants at Los Angeles Rams (Sunday, 10/4, 4:05 pm EST)
On the other side of the line of scrimmage in this contest, we have a backfield that is sans Saquon Barkley. The Giants experimented with Dion Lewis (so did we, with sleepers last week) in Week 3 to the tune of a whopping one carry.
The Giants will turn to former Falcons tailback Devonta Freeman, who has a resume filled with production in Atlanta.
The carries will have to go somewhere, and we’re banking on Freeman in Week 4.
10. Nyheim Hines (IND)
Game: Indianapolis Colts at Chicago Bears (Sunday, 10/4, 1:00 pm EST)
Our last pick of the week is the little spark plug known as Nyheim Hines. Rookie Jonathan Taylor has absorbed most the rushing carries for the Colts, but Hines has been mopping up the extemporaneous and gadget stuff.
Hines scores and pitches in 50 or so yards in a tight game at Chicago.
