Vikings vs Texans NFL live stream reddit for Week 4
By Mark Powell
In a battle of 0-3 teams, something has to give
The Minnesota Vikings and Houston Texans should not be 0-3. Even in a tough season which now includes game cancelations around the league, both the Texans and Vikings are more talented than their records suggest. So what gives?
Minnesota’s defense has not lived up to expectation. One glance at the depth chart makes that reality all too clear. The Vikings acquired Yannick Ngakoue before the season began, but even he hasn’t been able to fill the shoes Everson Griffen left when he signed with the Dallas Cowboys in the offseason. Add in Kirk Cousins’ poor play, which has been historically bad through three weeks, and it’s easy to see why Mike Zimmer’s name is on the chopping block, fair or not.
The Texans, meanwhile, have faced some of the toughest teams the NFL have to offer. Losses against the Chiefs, Ravens and Steelers prove that the Texans might be better than their record suggests. It also proves that the Texans aren’t up to par with the AFC’s finest, which isn’t something Deshaun Watson had in mind when he signed his lucrative extension with Houston this offseason.
Bill O’Brien will be calling the plays on Sunday in Minnesota, which could either prove disastrous or the answer for a Texans team in dire need of some offensive creativity.
