Early college football DFS picks October 10:
We have a dozen games for the early slate of college football DFS tournaments on Saturday. The Red River Shootout is the marquee game here since both defenses have been awful, but thereās some other good places on here. Weāll have to get different.
A&Mās defense hasnāt been great either and theyāre taking on the high-powered Florida offense. South Carolina gets to pad some stats on Vandy. North Carolina gets to test their backs against the Hokies. The Orange get to clamp down that defense on Duke. Thatās all before lunchtime!
The afternoon brings us the Mormon train against UTSA. BC tests that offense against the Pitt defense. Itās the battle of the purple between K-State and TCU. Texas Tech and Iowa State tangle in Ames. The SEC brings us the end of Tennesseeās win streak and Auburnās rebound against Arkansas. Maybe the Red River Shootout isnāt the lock we thought it was!
I was heavy on both sides of the Kansas State-Texas Tech tilt, so I lost my ass in the early slate last weekend with both Bowman and Thompson exiting before halftime. I was able to recoup some of those losses thanks to Virginia value plays on the night slate.
The scoring for DraftKings college football is much the same as it is for the NFL with one notable exception: the super flex! That means aside from the flex position which is RB/WR, you can add another player from any position! Want four running backs? Go right ahead! Five wide receivers? Sure! Two quarterbacks? Of course! Just stay under the salary cap!
The super flex replaces the defense, which is essential in college football. This is all about the offense. College football DFS scoring realizes that!
