The year just keeps getting better and better for Patrick Mahomes. After powering the Kansas City Chiefs to a Super Bowl win in February, he’s followed that up by getting engaged, announcing he’s got a baby on the way, signed a $502 million deal, become part-owner of the Kansas City Royals and more.
Seriously, the guys is living the dream. Fortunately for him, behind every man is a great woman, and in his case he’s got Brittany Matthews by his side through this incredible ride. As you can see from Matthews’ Twitter post, the couple looks happier than ever. It surely is tough for them to be down in the dumps, as Mahomes and the Chiefs are once again playing like the best team in the NFL and have a perfect 4-0 start to back that up.
The reigning Super Bowl MVP has been sensational once again this campaign, as he’s thrown for 1,134 yards, 11 touchdowns and no interceptions in the first four games of the young season. Those are the kinds of numbers fans expected Mahomes to deliver this fall, as he’s inarguably one of the best signal-callers in the NFL at the moment.
