Even ESPN is making fun of LSU football after they continue to struggle in life after Joe Burrow, but they should give the Tigers a break.

LSU really misses Joe Burrow. And Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, Patrick Queen, Dave Aranda, Joe Brady, the entire offensive line, most of their secondary and the home-field advantage they enjoyed during their title run in 2019.

2020 is a new year and LSU really could use some positive vibes after falling to 1-2 on the year after losing at Missouri on Saturday afternoon.

The game was moved from Baton Rouge to Columbia because of the threat of Hurricane Delta but that move alone wasn’t enough to foreshadow Missouri upsetting LSU. Not with Missouri starting redshirt freshman quarterback Connor Bazelak making his first start.

But so much for the heart of a champion because nearly 600 yards later by Missouri, the Tigers beat the other Tigers, 45-41.

Even ESPN is making fun of LSU’s dismal start

Things are so bad for LSU right now, that even ESPN’s Twitter department is getting in on the action of kicking the Tigers while they’re down. ESPN shared a Spongebob meme to troll the Bayou Bengals, which, is going to be funny if you’re an Alabama, Auburn, Texas A&M, Mississippi State fan, but if you’re an LSU fan, you’re likely to boycott ESPN for the time being.

Ed Orgeron’s team looks to get back in the win column Oct. 17 at Florida who is coming off a last-second loss to Texas A&M.
