Late college football DFS picks October 10:
We have a fun night of college football DFS ahead of us tomorrow! Florida State and Notre Dame doesn’t have the luster it once did, but maybe FSU can show up with a new quarterback. Alabama and Ole Miss is pushed onto this slate. Saban has never lost to a former assistant, but in college football DFS, we don’t care about wins and losses. Just the yardage that Ole Miss might pick up at bargain prices.
We have upstart UTEP against a Louisiana Tech team trying to find its bearings after being throttled in Utah. Mike Leach in Kentucky? What could go wrong? East Carolina’s loose defense against a team that can’t score? Which side wins that.
And of course we have the marquee game with Miami heading up the coast to South Carolina. It’s good ratings to hype this game up, but can Miami actually hang around with Clemson? They are fresh off getting shut out in a bowl game by Louisiana Tech. Is this real? Is anything in 2020 real? The money we can win on this slate is certainly real! Let’s go get some!
I was heavy on both sides of the Kansas State-Texas Tech tilt, so I lost my ass in the early slate last weekend with both Bowman and Thompson exiting before halftime. I was able to recoup some of those losses thanks to Virginia value plays on the night slate.
The scoring for DraftKings college football is much the same as it is for the NFL with one notable exception: the super flex! That means aside from the flex position which is RB/WR, you can add another player from any position! Want four running backs? Go right ahead! Five wide receivers? Sure! Two quarterbacks? Of course! Just stay under the salary cap!
The super flex replaces the defense, which is essential in college football. This is all about the offense. College football DFS scoring realizes that!
