Freddie Freeman hits an absolute missile to start NLCS with a bang (Video)
Freddie Freeman opened the scoring in the NLCS with a 429-foot home run for the Braves against the Dodgers
Experts may like the Dodgers in the NLCS against the Braves, but Atlanta’s Freddie Freeman got the first laugh of the series on Monday night.
The first baseman was the second batter Walker Buehler had to face in his start on the mound. Freeman made sure the pressure would be on the pitcher early with a 429-foot home run to open the scoring.
Interestingly enough, it might have been a familiar sensation for Buehler.
Freddie Freeman demolished a pitch to start the NLCS in style
The Braves grabbed the 1-0 lead in the top of the first before Buehler got a handle on the inning by picking up outs against Marcell Ozuna and Ozzie Albies.
The Dodgers will need to work from behind from here on out.
