10 WR sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 6
By Dustin Baker
8. Michael Gallup (DAL)
Game: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys (Monday, 10/19, 8:15 pm EST)
The zeal surrounding Michael Gallup’s arrival to the NFL has been largely usurped by rookie wide receiver, CeeDee Lamb. However, Gallup is still an extremely capable pass-catcher. There is a very reasonable chance that the Cowboys and Cardinals submerge themselves into a shootout. That bodes well for Michael Gallup and his fantasy football prognosis.
9. Golden Tate (NYG)
Game: Washington Football Team at New York Giants (Sunday, 10/18, 1:00 pm EST)
For the Giants, second-year stud Darius Slayton has become the showstopper. So much so that he arguably cannot be classified as a sleeper anymore. We will stay on the same depth chart and choose Tate to have a productive game in Week 6. Slayton has fantasy ups and downs, so let’s roll with Tate to have north of 10 PPR points this week.
10. Keelan Cole (JAX)
Game: Detroit Lions at Jacksonville Jaguars (Sunday, 10/18, 1:00 pm EST)
Rostering Jaguars wide receivers for fantasy football purposes is maddening. There are about five players on the WR spot of the depth chart, and they’re all fairly talented.
Cole has been targeted the most while D.J. Chark recovers from injury. That leads us to believe that Gardner Minshew II has some semblance of trust in Cole.
We’ve spun the Jacksonville WR carousel and chosen Keelan Cole. Maybe the Lions and Jaguars will put some points on the board down in Florida.
