Buffalo Bills

TE. Philadelphia Eagles. Zach Ertz. 86. player. 54.

The Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen have looked terrific to start the season. With the addition of Stefon Diggs, Josh Allen has looked like an MVP candidate through the first quarter of the season. Hats off to the job done by Sean McDermott over his couple years there. Their defense is full of young and emerging talent as well. The one area of weakness on this team: The Tight End.

Dawson Knox has shown flashes, but he’s nowhere near the talent of Zach Ertz. Ertz and the Eagles are in a rocky place. George Kittle and Travis Kelce, the other top tight ends in the NFL, have secured their massive pay days and then there’s Ertz, who the Eagles seem reluctant to pay. Naturally, that can’t sit well with Ertz and that’s why a change of scenery is exactly what both sides need.

Ertz in Buffalo would be unreal. Given the Eagles injuries in recent years, Ertz has mostly been the only receiving option on the Eagles. On the Bills, he would finally get back to seeing single coverage and he will feast. This trade would vault the Bills into Super Bowl contention, where they rightfully deserve to be already. Additionally, the Bills have the cap space to give Zach Ertz the contract that he deserves.

It’s a win win for all parties. I’m sure Bills Mafia would be thrilled with this acquisition.
