Thanks to a brilliant start in 2020, Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide are now the favorites to win the National Championship.

It’s been an incredible start to the season for Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide, as the SEC powers are a perfect 4-0. Thanks to brilliant play from quarterback Mac Jones, Alabama’s offense really looks like it can’t be stopped.

And it looks like the oddsmakers believe this team has what it takes to go all the way in 2020. That’s because Alabama is now the favorite over the No. 1 Clemson Tigers to win the National Championship this winter.

Alabama has what it takes to go all the way behind Nick Saban and Mac Jones

The Crimson Tide are riding high this week after they cruised in the second half to a big-time win over Georgia over the weekend. The Bulldogs were actually up 24-20 at halftime over Alabama, causing some Tide fans plenty of anxiety. However, that didn’t last long.

Behind Jones and Najee Harris, Alabama went on to dominate the second half and left the stadium with a convincing 41-24 win. That’s right, the defense kept Georgia scoreless in the final 30 minutes of play.

As for Clemson, Trevor Lawrence and Dabo Swinney have the Tigers at a perfect 5-0 on the year. Clemson hasn’t really been tested this fall, as their wins have come against Wake Forest, The Citadel, No. 7 Miami, Virginia and Georgia Tech.

Alabama’s schedule has been much tougher, which is surely why many out there believe they’ll be the ones to win the national title in the coming months. Another Clemson vs. Alabama title matchup would surely be exciting. For now, it looks like the Tide is the one who hold the upper hand.
