The Chicago Bears are limited offensively, but they’re proving to be a contender regardless. The New England Patriots? Not so much.

30. . 0-6. Previous: . New York Jets. 32. team

This team stinks beyond all comprehension.

1-5. Previous: . Washington Commanders. 31. team. 58.

Kyle Allen, Dwayne Haskins, doesn’t matter. Washington has no offense.

52. . 1-5. Previous: . Jacksonville Jaguars. 30. team

Everyone thought Jacksonville was awful, then it won Week 1 and threw people off the scent. Turns out the Jaguars are terrible.

31. . 1-5. Previous: . New York Giants. 29. team

A win? A win! Daniel Jones was awful, but the Giants finally get a victory.

56. . 1-4-1. Previous: . Cincinnati Bengals. 28. team

A 21-0 lead barely lasted to halftime against Philip Rivers. Rough.

1-5. Previous: . Houston Texans. 27. team. 10.

Light a candle for Deshaun Watson and J.J. Watt. The Texans can’t play defense at all.

26. team. 60. . 1-5. Previous: . Minnesota Vikings

Kirk Cousins signing an extension before this season is an all-time disaster for Minnesota.

. 1-4-1. Previous: . Philadelphia Eagles. 25. team. 54

The Eagles are stuck with Carson Wentz, have a billion injuries and can’t consistently play defense. Otherwise, things are great.

1-5. Previous: . Atlanta Falcons. 24. team. 44.

The Falcons are 1-0 under Raheem Morris. If they could close games out, they’d be 3-3.

Dallas Cowboys. 23. team. 123. . 2-4. Previous:

Dallas is only this high because these power rankings are about who can win it all, and have you seen the NFC East?

. 1-4. Previous: . Los Angeles Chargers. 22. team. 13

The Chargers fall victim to some poor teams rising with wins. Keep an eye on them coming out of the bye week.

team. 50. . 2-3. Previous: . Detroit Lions. 21

Big game for the Lions, who stay alive with a win out of the bye. The question now is if they can beat decent teams?

Previous: . Denver Broncos. 20. team. 45. . 2-3

Nice win, but let’s also be real. Drew Lock completed 10 passes and threw two horrid interceptions. The offense didn’t score a touchdown. Still, this is a huge win, setting up a major opportunity at home against Kansas City.

19. team. 87. . 3-3. Previous: . Carolina Panthers

Blown chance for the Panthers this weekend. Teddy Bridgewater struggled mightily, and the offense couldn’t make enough plays against the Bears.

New England Patriots. 18. team. 47. . 2-3. Previous:

Biggest fall of the week. New England — outside of its loss to the Seahawks — has been bad offensively. At some point, Cam Newton and the Pats need a few chunk plays.

59. . 3-3. Previous: . Miami Dolphins. 17. team

Suddenly, Miami is in second place of the AFC East and in the conversation.

. 3-3. Previous: . San Francisco 49ers. 16. team. 42

Jimmy Garoppolo was excellent, the defense swarmed and the 49ers won a huge tilt against their in-state rivals.

Indianapolis Colts. 15. team. 46. . 4-2. Previous:

Look, the Colts won, but that was a hideous showing.

. 4-2. Previous: . Cleveland Browns. 14. team. 53

Ugly, ugly game. The Browns have faced two contenders in Baltimore and Pittsburgh, and been outscored 76-13.

team. 28. . 3-2. Previous: . Las Vegas Raiders. 13

The Raiders creep closer to the top 10. Derek Carr and Co. have been fairly impressive thus far.

4-2. Previous: . Arizona Cardinals. 12. team. 32.

Arizona hammered the Cowboys on Monday night. The defense has really been a nice surprise for Kliff Kingsbury and Co.

15. . 3-2. Previous: . New Orleans Saints. 11. team

New Orleans has to get it cranking out of the bye week. The Saints can’t wait around, or they’ll be fighting to make the playoffs.

. 4-2. Previous: . Los Angeles Rams. 10. team. 51

Are the Rams good because they’re 4-2, or bad because they’ve only beaten NFC East teams?

. 4-2. Previous: . Buffalo Bills. 9. team. 16

Buffalo is a good team with the Jets on deck, but getting handled by a pair of AFC heavyweights isn’t a great look for a group trying to prove itself.

8. team. 57. . 5-1. Previous: . Chicago Bears

Chicago gets its due. The Bears are tough to watch offensively, but the defense is great and Nick Foles, while not good, is an upgrade over Mitch Trubisky.

team. 49. . 4-1. Previous: . Green Bay Packers. 7

The Packers are a really good team, who had a really bad day. Look for them to bounce back in Houston.

Previous: . Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 6. team. 48. . 4-2

The Buccaneers put it all together against the Packers. If the offense can get rolling, they might go on quite a streak.

. 5-0. Previous: . Tennessee Titans. 5. team. 35

At some point, the Titans need to be considered legitimate contenders. Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry make for a great combination, and Mike Vrabel can coach.

36. . 5-0. Previous: . Seattle Seahawks. 4. team

A week off for the Seahawks, and they see losses for the Rams and Packers. Not bad.

55. . 5-0. Previous: . Pittsburgh Steelers. 3. team

Nobody has a more imposing defense. The loss of Devin Bush is huge, but this group is absurdly talented.

. 5-1. Previous: . Baltimore Ravens. 2. team. 26

The offense isn’t great, but the defense has been, and Lamar Jackson is making it happen with his legs again.

. 4-1. Previous: . Kansas City Chiefs. 1. team. 124

Kansas City decided not to force the issue and run. It worked. The defense was terrific for the fifth time in six games, Clyde Edwards-Helaire rushed for 161 yards and here comes Le’Veon Bell.
