College football DFS picks October 23: D’Vonte is worth the Price

We have a solid three game slate for our Friday college football DFS tournaments. DraftKings conspicuously left off the Big Ten matchup of Wisconsin and Illinois. Instead we get Jacksonville State and FIU. That doesn’t seem like a fair trade.

The marquee game is now Louisiana and UAB with Tulsa and South Florida making for a very interesting undercard. With the forfeiture of the Wisconsin game, we have no ranked teams in action and plenty of value to go around. Let’s see just what we have to work with.

I had a good afternoon last Saturday due to several of my 20 lineups having both Brady White and Gabriel in them. I would have had a takedown if the Coxie news had come out a bit earlier. It still felt good to put together a few lineups that broke 200.

That wont happen on this Friday night slate. There just isn’t enough firepower out there. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t good places to win some cash for Saturday.

The scoring for DraftKings college football is much the same as it is for the NFL with one notable exception: the super flex! That means aside from the flex position which is RB/WR, you can add another player from any position! Want four running backs? Go right ahead! Five wide receivers? Sure! Two quarterbacks? Of course! Just stay under the salary cap!

The super flex replaces the defense, which is essential in college football. This is all about the offense. College football DFS scoring realizes that!
