See, Tom Brady will shake hands with an opponent while on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made sure Tom Brady shook Derek Carr‘s hand on Sunday afternoon.
It may have been because Tampa Bay defeated the Carr’s Las Vegas Raiders, or it may have been the right thing to do. We’ll never know, but the Buccaneers made sure to capture this Kodak moment of their starting quarterback shaking the hands of the most pleasant pirate leading the Silver and Black these days. So how do Nick Foles and the Chicago Bears feel about this?

The Buccaneers should do this every football game for the rest of time
When it comes to delivering the best and firmest handshakes possible, we want this to become synonymous with the Buccaneers. Brady will go from being The GOAT to The GOAT of over-the-top postgame handshakes. He must channel his inner Eric Stratton, rush chair for Delta Tau Chi, and say he’s damn glad to meet ya, even if he knows everything about the opposing quarterback.

Eventually, the battle vs. time will end with Brady losing. When the Buccaneers have to draft another quarterback in a few years, it shouldn’t be on arm talent, nor should it be on character, nor on his perceived clutch gene. The only trait that matters when picking Brady’s Tampa Bay successor is if his grip of another man’s hand is up to par. If he can make eye contact, even better.
The only way it improves is if he refuses to shake Foles or any Bears’ paws forever going forward.
