The Florida football program has six more positive COVID-19 tests, bringing the total for the month up to a staggering 37 people.
The Florida Gators continue to be hit especially hard by the coronavirus. After Florida football had to postpone its game against LSU until Dec. 12 because of more than 20 positive COVID-19 tests, Dan Mullen also tested positive for the virus and a total of six more positive tests hit the football program this week.
In total, Florida football has had 37 total positive COVID-19 tests.

Florida football up to 37 positive COVID-19 cases
After a two-week hiatus due to the coronavirus outbreak, the Gators returned to work on Monday with meetings and practice. No. 10 Florida is scheduled to play host to Missouri on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
It’s unclear which players, coaches and assistants will be available for the game. But for now, it appears that the Gators will have more than the minimum number of 53 scholarship athletes needed to play the game. If that number falls below that threshold, as it did for the LSU game, then that game would need to be rescheduled.
The problem is there is not enough time to reschedule that after the Dec. 12 date with the SEC Championship Game scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 19. So, hopefully, the game will be played as scheduled and no more Florida football players and coaches test positive for COVID-19.
