1. Jerick McKinnon (SF)

Game: San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks (Sunday, 11/1, 4:25 pm EST)

Foremost, this will be a phenomenal football game. These teams always set off the fireworks when they meet. Unfortunately for the 49ers, Kyle Shanahan’s squad has experienced a flurry of injuries that beset the team at the beginning of the season. Notably, wideout Deebo Samuel and halfback Jeff Wilson will miss time.

Raheem Mostert is already hurt, so the path is paved for Jerick McKinnon to flourish yet again. Seattle’s defense is teetering on historically bad, and that does them no favors vs. the ultra-creative Shanahan.

McKinnon is a no-brainer sleeper starter.

2. Boston Scott (PHI)

Game: Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday, 11/1, 8:20 pm EST)

Explosive tailback Miles Sanders will probably miss this game. That bodes well for owners of Boston Scott. Last week against the New York Giants, Scott and the Eagles struck late to snatch a game away from their NFC East foes. Scott even notched the game-winning touchdown.

In this analysis, we often say “the carries have to go somewhere,” and this week is another opportunity for the shifty Boston Scott. Much like the Seahawks listed above, Dallas’ defense is an embarrassment. Start Scott for another week.
