The Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback depth chart will make you cringe

Sunday Night Football will not be a banner day for Dallas Cowboys quarterbacking at all.

With Ben DiNucci getting his first career start on Sunday night vs. the rival Philadelphia Eagles, you may want to advert your eyes whenever the Cowboys offense takes the field. DiNucci may have been a great player for FCS James Madison, but the seventh-round rookie could not be more up against it vs. the Eagles on Sunday. So…who is backing DiNucci up on Sunday Night Football?

Looks like we’ve got a Duke, an Apollo and…a Belldozer

Backing up DiNucci in primetime will be former AAF superstar Garrett Gilbert. Though he could spin it for the Head Ball Coach on the now-defunct Orlando Apollos, good luck having to take the field if DiNucci can’t play a full four quarters. Should the Cowboys need to go to an emergency quarterback, it will be tight end Blake Bell. Yes, the Oklahoma Sooners’ Belldozer is next man up.

So if the former James Madison Duke wins, Eagles head coach Doug Pederson may be thrown into the Delaware River, along with a few batteries from the Philadelphia faithful. If DiNucci goes down and Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy has to put his faith in an Appolo or the Belldozer, Jerry Jones should fire his sleepover buddy right on the spot for offensive line and coaching malpractice.

If the Eagles do not win this game, then no NFC East team should make the playoffs this year.
