This week’s Fanduel lineups will be extremely competitive with short lineups across the board.

Fanduel lineups for the Sunday afternoon slate obviously only look at games from the 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. timeslot. The bye teams are obviously out in Week 9 (Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns, and Cincinnati Bengals). Also out are all the nationally televised games (Green Bay vs. San Francisco on Thursday night, New Orleans vs. Tampa Bay on Sunday night, and New England vs. the Jets on Monday night). There are a lot of really good options on those teams (well, not on the teams playing on Monday Night Football).

There are still a ton of awesome options on the slate this week. Christian McCaffrey could return to take his rightful spot as the most expensive player in the NFL. Patrick Mahomes is holding a hefty $9,300 price tag after his 36-point performance against the lowly New York Jets. Dalvin Cook rises to the ranks of the elite after one of the best performances of the season. He was questionable coming into the matchup but it sure looked like he was 100 percent against the rival Green Bay Packers.

There are multiple options to save money while trying to get on a gravy train before it leaves the station. It’s a similar strategy used with Mike Davis before he turned into a pumpkin (is that reference allowed after Halloween?). This week, Nyheim Hines is $5,400 coming off a 19-point week. Gus Edwards started for the Ravens, got close to 15 points, and is still just $5,400 himself. DeeJay Dallas‘ 20-point night for the Seahawks only got him to $5,100. That’s not even considering a $6,900 Philip Rivers (two 20-point games in a row) and a $5,600 Curtis Samuel (34 points combined in the last two games).

The Fanduel options are fun this week with some intriguing matchups on the slate and no Jets to bet against.
