College football DFS quarterback picks November 5:

Top Tier:

If you want any chance at a takedown Carson Strong has to be in your lineup. He ripped up UNLV. No biggie there. However, he shredded a Wyoming defense that is one of the best in the conference last week. Strong is the top play on the entire slate and it’s not close.

Middle Tier:

The Colorado State defense struggled last week in their first game to date. Levi Williams hasn’t been great, but he hasn’t been horrible either. He’s mostly a game manager, but his rushing ability given him a touch more upside than the other two on this slate.

Temple transfer Todd Centeio got the start for Colorado State, but Patrick O’Brien was much better in relief. O’Brien completed seven of ten passes for a touchdown without a turnover. That’s a hell of a lot more than Centeio did. At worst, I see both getting snaps, but the Rams would be quite foolish to not let O’Brien start at this point since the competition was neck and neck in camp anyway.

Bargain Shoppers:

Utah transfer Jason Shelley has had a rough go of it for the Aggies so far. Andrew Peasley has seen snaps, but neither has been effective. Shelley should still start and the Nevada defense hasn’t been very good, so he’s an interesting punt so long as he starts.
